What is yoga? Yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning union. It is the process and practice of uniting/connecting with the Self, the god of your own understanding, and all beings. Yoga is the practice to support one in healing and in rising into the full expression of oneself. Through the practice, we breathe and move and pay attention with kindness and compassion, training the mind, and becoming more embodied. We harness the mind to ultimately free it. And yes, we can do this practice on our mats and then carry it with us into all aspects of life. You and all around you benefit.
